Nanny Luncheon ~ August, 2007

My name is Ciera and I am a 23 year old graduate of the University of South Florida. I have been working with children either full or part time now for 4 years. I have been with several child care agencies and worked as a nanny. My goals for the future include obtaining a Masters degree in Education and being hired as a teacher in a local elementary school. I will be marrying my high school sweetheart in November and am so looking forward to my wedding. In my spare time I volunteer and act as a foster parent for the Humane Society of Manatee County. I also enjoy anything creative including knitting, and scrapbooking. I would love to meet new families who need quality childcare!
 

Hi, my name is Evanne, I have been a nanny for several years.  My last position took me to Germany for nine months where I care for infant twins. I can assure you that I am dedicated to educating children in a encouraging, age appropriate, fun-loving, and mentoring way. Hello! My name is Stefanie. I’m originally from Fredericksburg, Virginia. I graduated from Ferrum College in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. After graduation I moved to beautiful Sarasota, Florida to start graduate school. In 2006, I graduated from Sarasota County Technical Institute with my CDA (Child Development Associative Degree). In 2007, I graduated from Argosy University with my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. I am currently working on my clinical hours to become a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In my spare time I enjoy going to the beach and playing with my Maltese Tosh and my German Shepard Frampton. Three words to describe me are outgoing, talkative, and energetic. I enjoy working with children for the rewarding feeling I receive!

Hello, my name is Laura. I am a 30year old SAHM with an 19 month old daughter, Elle, who is the love of my life. I have been married for almost 9 years to my wonderful husband James. We moved to Florida from Michigan a year ago to bring our family closer to my relatives. We enjoy going to the park, beach and of course shopping!

In looking for daycare for Elle I found that I was not happy with the choices that were out there, especially for the price. I couldn't see putting her in a room all day surrounded by 20 other children and little interaction. This is why I became a Nanny. Not only does it allow me to bring my daughter along it allows me to provide direct care and nurturing in caring for my charges. She makes a great playmate as well.

Since coming down to Florida I have worked with a wonderful family that allowed me to learn and grow not only as an individual but as a Nanny. I look forward to becoming a part of that one special family out there that is seeking an individual like myself.

Hi, My name is Tonya,  I am the mother of two beautiful daughters, 10 and 16.  I have taught swimming lessons, run a parents day out program, taught pre-school, and worked as a Nanny.  Currently I teach pre-school at a local preschool during the day and am available for sitting jobs in the evening and on the weekends.  I am certified in CPR and First Aid, have completed my 30 hour childcare certificate along with and have an AA degree.  I am outgoing, energetic, dependable, and love taking care of children.

Hi! My name is Cheryl. I am married and have a lovely 23 year old daughter. I have a bachelors degree in Psychology and Child Welfare and obtained a masters degree in social service from Fordham Graduate School. I have been a Nanny for the past five years and worked in various childcare settings for the past twelve years. I have also worked with special needs and autistic children in the school setting. I presently am a Nanny for a lovely family and take care of a sweet 11th month old girl. I enjoy watching children explore and learn new things. I also teach two days a week at a private pre-school. I am active and enjoy jogging, skiing and staying fit. I am certified in infant and child CPR and First aide. I keep current with numerous on-line courses for the department of children and families, inservice training at our pre-school and belong to the Association of Play therapy.
